Variables and Data Types – definition and usage, Logical Operators, Loops, Functions and Procedures
Objects
Understanding and using Objects, Types of Objects, Introduction to Object Properties, Actions and Uses, Creating User Forms Interface
Forms
Creating and Customizing Users Forms, Understanding the Forms Interface, Coding and linking of Excel Forms
Troubleshooting& Debugging
Dealing with Errors, Syntax Errors, Macro Code Compilation, Debugging, Standard Errors, Ways to Resolve Bugs
Connecting and Using Other Applications
Application Object, Connection Object, Creating Pivots from different Data Sources and applications, linking and Working with other applications
Specialization - Custom Macro building
This module is a customized module helping participants specialize creating macros for their specific domain. For example:
- I am a CA, I spend a lot of time creating Balance Sheet & PnL from my Trail Balance, I learn to create an Automated Template solution for the same. So, next time I import a trail balance, my macro auto creates P&L and BS schedules for me.
- I work for MIS team, I invest ample amount of time consolidating numbers from different streams. I learn to create a consolidation macro. Macro that helps me to collate, perform slice-n-dice and prepare some reports automatically.
